Budmerice is a small village 35 km north of Bratislava. Budmerice chateau has been built by Palfy family in the late XIX-th century. Presently it is owned by the Slovak Literature Foundation.  Budmerice is easily accessible by a car or by a bus from Bratislava.

CONFERENCE BUS: BRATISLAVA -> BUDMERICE 28th OCTOBER

On Saturday October 28th the conference bus will depart from hotel Druzba at 13:30 . Then it will stop at the railway station Bratislava - Petrzalka with the departure at 14:00 . Finally, the bus will stop at the bus station Bratislava - Mlynske Nivy with the departure to Budmerice at 14:30 . The participants should wait for the bus in front of the hotel, the railway and the bus stations, respectively. If you miss the conference bus please take other local buses (time tables can be found below).

 One way-ticket costs about 70 SK (1 EURO=44 SK ).

VIENNA -> BRATISLAVA 28th OCTOBER

  Trains from Wien to Bratislava on October 28
 Arrivals are to Bratislava-Petrzalka or to Bratislava-hl.st. (Main Station).  From Bratislava-hl.st. you can reach Bratislava-Mlynske Nivy
(Bus Station) by trolley bus No. 210  which operates every 12 minutes. One ticket costs 12 SK (1 EURO=44 Sk) valid for 30 minutes.
From Bratislava-Petrzalka you can reach Bratislava-Mlynske Nivy (Bus Station) first taking bus No. 90  to its final stop Novy Most (New Bridge, 4th stop)
and then taking bus No. 70 to 4th stop (Bus Station Mlynske Nivy) .  For each bus use one ticket valid for 10 minutes (6 SK each).
Tickets can be obtained from tobacconists and from machines (using coins only).
 Buses from Wien to Bratislava on October 28
 Departures from the airport Wien-Schwechat are 20 minutes after departures from Wien-Mitte. One-way ticket costs 100 ATS.
