young european physicists meeting is organized under the rtn project conquest. the meeting is intended to serve as a discussion forum for young researchers - students and postdocs (under 35). therefore, every participant should give a short presentation (30 minutes including discussion) about his work and results. the program will be accompanied by a few invited talks and a non-scientific program. it is a good oportunity to train your presentation skills, and/or to start future collaboration. the whole meeeting is organized completely by young physicists for young physicists interested in field of quantum information theory. however people from different fields are welcome to apply as well.
this year the yep meeting will be in chateaux of budmerice in slovakia. participants will be accommodated in the chateaux (address: Domov slovenskych spisovatelov, Kastiel, 90086 Budmerice, Slovakia, Tel.: ++421 33 6448289). the online registration is available. unfortunately, no financial support is available. in the case of large number of participants the acceptance of your conference contribution will be announced before september 15th. each speaker will have 30 minutes for his presentation (including 5 minutes discussion). the seminar room will be equiped with overhead projector and data projector (whiteboard will be also available).
the chateaux is surrounded by a big park. there is an opportunity to play football, tennis, table tennis. the area is suitable for jogging, walking, or even for bike trips.
fee
conference fee: via bank transfer 230 € (paid till 15 september 2005) and in cash 250 €
conference fee covers full service, i.e. lodgings, meals, conference dinner, conference tour, transport from and to bratislava, book of abstracts.
